The transformation of the structure of higher education study cycles in the context of the Bologna Process means that teaching qualifications are now at Master’s level, with a view to enhancing the quality of teacher training and improving the socio-professional status of teachers (Decree-Law No. 43\/2007). The Master’s Degree in Visual and Technological Education in Primary Education aims to provide an effective response to the training needs arising from the constant and legitimate changes of the times and the diversity of today’s schools. On the one hand, it aims to provide professional qualifications for teaching Visual and Technological Education in Primary Education and, on the other hand, the study cycle, through the accreditation of various CU in the study plan, aims to enable continuous training for teachers who, already professionalised, wish to update\/renew their knowledge. The fundamental objective of this Master’s degree is to train graduates who, based on the development and deepening of their general and specialised knowledge in the area of Visual Education and Technological Education, are able to apply it appropriately to innovative solutions and who, through reflective practice based on research, prove to be relevant in solving the increasingly multidisciplinary problems arising in today’s schools.<\/p>\n
