The International Conference on Applied Communication will take place online on 27 and 28 May 2026.

This event is organised as part of the Master’s Degree in Applied Communication at the Higher School of Education of Viseu.

This year’s edition focuses on Communication Strategies in the Digital Age, exploring various topics related to digitalisation.

Aimed at higher education students, Master’s and PhD students, researchers and professionals, the event will take place over two days, with the following objectives:

To promote the sharing of knowledge and experiences among professionals, researchers and students in the field of communication;

To disseminate communication practices and strategies in the digital context;

To contribute to scientific development in the field of digital communication.

Associate Professor specialising in Digital Media at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, NOVA University Lisbon. He currently serves as Director of the NOVA Institute of Communication (ICNOVA). He is the founder and coordinator of the iNOVA Media Lab.
