The main objectives of this master’s course in Applied Communication are:
- To promote training and research within the area of communication sciences;
- To train professionals and researchers in the fields of strategic communication, multimedia and audiovisual resources;
- To increase scientific knowledge, finding and creating innovative opportunities within integrated communication strategies;
- To develop expertise in areas related to the information and knowledge society;
- To train professionals capable of effectively responding to new demands in content and management production for different platforms.
Career Opportunities
The Strategic Communication branch aims at training professionals to:
- Perform programming and content production functions concerning institutional communication;
- Manage online-communities;
- Provide communication consulting or advice;
- Coordinate events programming and organization activities;
- Perform accountant/accountant supervisor/accountant director functions in advertising or communication agencies.
The Interactive Multimedia branch intends to train professionals to:
- Perform functions in companies within the multimedia area;
- Develop coordination activities for interactive multimedia projects;
- Collaborate in the design and development of multimedia communication solutions;
- Perform multimedia content management functions for different platforms.
The Audiovisual Communication branch aims at training professionals to:
- Perform multipurpose functions within the audiovisual area;
- Create contents in the imaging production area;
- Design and develop audiovisual projects;
- Collaborate in the implementation and dynamization of audiovisual communication strategies;
- Perform criticism and analysis functions concerning audiovisual communication.
