This master’s course in Primary Education and Mathematics and Natural Sciences Teaching (5th and 6th grades) qualifies for the teaching in primary schools and for the teaching of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in basic education. The course (i) promotes the development of a professional capable of adapting to the challenges of society; (ii) improves the mobilization of knowledge, skills and competences of professional practices in different contexts; and (iii) fosters the development of the teacher qualified to perform the functions associated with the capacity for educational intervention, research, reflexive analysis and lifelong learning.
