Psychosocial Intervention with Children and Youth at risk

Presentation

This master´s course in Psychosocial Intervention with Children and Youth at Risk offers a specialized technical training in the design, development and evaluation of projects and specific intervention methodologies implemented through measures intended to prevent and protect children and youth at risk. The course presupposes the development of a learning culture oriented towards the promotion of children and youth’s health, well-being and quality of life, at personal, social, family and institutional levels, having as a reference the network and multidisciplinary teams that help to intervene, in a reasonable way, in socially vulnerable populations.

Career opportunities

  • Social charities and humanitarian institutions, public or private, supporting children and youth;
  • Multidisciplinary teams supporting children and youth at risk (abandonment, social exclusion, child abuse, etc.).
