Presentation

– Acquire aesthetic and artistic training that fosters effective creative activity;
– Acquire theoretical and technical knowledge in order to develop skills in the area of artistic design and production applied to visual communication;
– Learn about procedures and methodologies in the field of Fine Arts;
– Understand creativity and innovation as one of the decisive competitive factors in today’s business/institutional context;
– Develop skills in the construction, implementation and coordinated management of organisational image;
– Master the procedures and methodologies of specific areas of communication design and information and communication technologies;
– Know the methods of editing and graphic reproduction in various media/formats;
– Develop skills that enable them to carry out their professional activity independently;
– Be able to perform their professional activity in accordance with the ethical and deontological principles of the areas covered by this course.

Career Opportunities

The course will train professionals with skills in the production and promotion of corporate/institutional image in the field of graphic arts and multimedia. Given the characteristics and flexibility of the graduate’s profile, it is considered that they will be an asset to commercial and marketing departments, advertising agencies, design offices, multimedia companies, national, regional or local press, printing companies, publishing houses, industrial and service companies, and public or private institutions. Among others, the activities to be performed by these professionals may include: Production and promotion of the image and visual identity of companies/institutions; Coordination and creation in the field of graphic arts; Creation and production of multimedia content/products; Consultancy in the field of communication.

This course also offers the possibility of further studies in the field of arts, design and/or multimedia, as well as teacher training courses in the arts.
